Fishing was a little spotty but solid ended up with 11 for the box before my folks from Colorado threw in the towel. We hooked 24 or so but couldn’t keep them hooked. That’s why it’s called fishing and not catching. :). All and all a great day with nicer weather.

Buzz and Candace do the kenai limit by 8am. 7/20/18
Buzz and Candace showed up bright and early for a morning of sockeye fishing! It was very good with lots hooked and lost and 6 put in the box for dinner before 8am. Candace got right in the water and didn’t waist any time reeling her fish in, all the while telling me all about her world. Buzz is a 80+ year old veteran but he sure could fight a sockeye!
Another kenai slab 7/19/18
What a great day on the kenai river in Alaska..
Fishing is going great all though we are all catch and release. It feels great knowing that we can let these kings swim to the gravel!
